The Commissioners of Public Works, in consultation with mobile phone operators, have introduced a standard licence agreement, which governs the installation of telecommunications equipment by mobile phone operators on Garda masts.

The granting of these licences is an ongoing programme and each licence is for a period of 10 years from the date of signing. A copy of the standard licence agreement will be forwarded to the Deputy under separate cover.
