Question 332: To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will review his decision to deport persons (details supplied) on the grounds of the existence of a serious threat to life and well-being in the event of repatriation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The persons to whom the Deputy refers arrived in the State on the 12th July, 2005 and sought asylum. It was decided to refuse refugee status and Deportation Orders in respect of the persons were made on the 11th August, 2005. Judicial Review proceedings challenging the Deportation Orders were instituted on the 15th January, 2006 and accordingly, as the matter is sub judice, I do not propose to comment further on this case.
