The Deputy's question relates to the management and delivery of health and personal social services, which are the responsibility of the Health Service Executive under the Health Act 2004.
I understand that the issue here relates to noise arising from the use of a piece of medical equipment in a neighbouring house. The Health Service Executive has recently arranged for the installation of a new machine with low volume density in the house in question.
However, my Department has requested the Parliamentary Affairs Division of the Executive to arrange to address the Deputy's specific question in relation to how the Executive has dealt with the complaint, and to reply directly to him.
