My Department in conjunction with the 'Stay Safe' programme personnel in the Department of Health and Children is currently conducting a questionnaire survey in all primary schools in the country to find out the most up-to-date and accurate position in relation to the implementation of the 'Stay safe' programme in primary schools.

When all the questionnaires are returned and the data analysed, my Department will then be in a position to know the full extent of the take up of the 'Stay Safe' programme. When this work is completed, I will be happy to inform the Deputy about the results.
