Question 202: To ask the Minister for Education and Science if the purchase of the site for a school (details supplied) in County Kildare is complete, or complete subject to planning permission being granted; if plans to build the school are running parallel with the planning process; if it is anticipated the school will be built in time for September 2007; if not the contingency measures which are in place; and if she will make a statement on the matter. A suitable site for the new school has been identified and an agreement on price, subject to contract, has been reached. The contract documents were only recently received in the office of the Chief State Solicitor and are currently being examined by same. It is my intention to progress the building of the school as soon as the site has been acquired.
