Question 148: To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children further to a previous Parliamentary Question if she will arrange an occupational therapists report in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny relative to their needs and the provision of care in their own home; if the Health Service Executive will prioritise their case in view of their immediate needs; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I understand from the Health Service Executive that due to an incorrect surname being given by the Deputy the matter raised in the original Parliamentary Question is still under investigation.

The Deputy's current question also relates to the management and delivery of health and personal social services, which are the responsibility of the Health Service Executive under the Health Act 2004. Accordingly, my Department has requested the Parliamentary Affairs Division of the Executive to arrange to have this matter investigated and to have a reply issued directly to the Deputy.
