Question 368: To ask the Minister for Education and Science if her attention has been drawn to the proposals to establish a residential Irish language secondary school on Oileán Chléire in west Cork; if she will nominate an official from her Department to engage in discussion with a group (details supplied) who are promoting the proposal in order that it can be examined and developed for consideration; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I am not aware of any such proposal. Officials in the School Planning Section of my Department will fully consider the matter should a proposal be received from the group in question.
