Question 243: To ask the Minister for Transport the number of applications which his Department has received from drivers seeking the removal of penalty points from their licence in situations whereby an application is made by a Chief Superintendent to have the points removed; if all such applications were granted; if not, the reason therefor; the main categories or circumstances of errors for which the points have been removed; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
