Question 240: To ask the Minister for Transport the additional funding spent in the targeted areas of disadvantage in the State under the RAPID programme on projects not outlined in the National Development Plan by his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19922/06]

There is no specific separate funding allocated to transport projects under the RAPID Programme. They form part of the National Development Plan, and the question of additional funding is dealt with in the context of overall National Development Plan funding.
