Question 523: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government if he will instruct local authorities to waive the waste water discharge licence levies for primary and post primary schools who have had to acquire such a licence as part of a planning application; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The licensing by local authorities of waste water discharges has been subject to a prescribed fee since 1992 and there are no proposals to amend this position.
