The numbers of Special Need Assistants (SNAs) currently paid on my Department's payroll and employed in the schools referred to by the Deputy are as follows:
Marist College, Athlone, Co. Westmeath: 0
St. Joseph's College, Athlone, Co. Westmeath: 1 full-time post
St. Aloysius' College, Athlone, Co. Westmeath: 1 part-time post (21 hours per week)
Our Lady's Bower, Athlone, Co. Westmeath: 1 full-time post.
I understand that there are seven SNAs employed in Athlone Community College (6.17 full-time posts) who are paid by County Westmeath Vocational Education Committee.
