Question 463: To ask the Minister for Education and Science the progress which has been made regarding the planning application made by a school (details supplied) in County Donegal which has been waiting four years for essential accommodation; and if she will make a statement on the matter. An application for capital funding towards the provision of a general purpose room, staff room, multipurpose room and storage capacity has been received from the school to which the Deputy refers. The project has been assessed in accordance with the published prioritisation criteria for large scale building projects, which was revised following consultation with the Education Partners. The project is being considered in the context of the School Building and Modernisation Programme 2006-2010.
