I refer the Deputy to Parliamentary Question No. 620 of Tuesday, 21st March, 2006 (ref:10291/06) and the written reply to that Question.

An appeal was received in relation to this application on 22nd March, 2006 and the decision to refuse was upheld on 3rd April, 2006. The Visa Appeals Officer was unable to satisfactorily verify the appellant's employment details and consequently was not satisfied that the appellant was qualified for the position of employment as indicated on his work permit. As each application is entitled to one appeal only no further review in this matter can be facilitated; however it is open to the applicant to make a fresh application. Comprehensive information on making a visa application is available on my Department's website (www.justice.ie).
