Question 399: To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when an application by a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath for permission to remain here on the basis of marriage to an Irish national will be processed, as all the necessary relevant supporting documentation has been submitted; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The necessary supporting documentation has only recently been received by my Department from the person in question. The case is currently under consideration and it is expected that a decision on the application for residency based on marriage to an Irish national will issue shortly.
