The planning process for the development will address in a comprehensive manner the various issues which arise in the context of an Environmental Impact Assessment. These will include, but not be limited to, matters such as archaeology, traffic, flora and fauna etc. Work is underway and well advanced under a number of these headings but cannot be completed until the final design of the proposed development becomes available following the relevant tendering processes. At that stage, there will be an opportunity for full consultation based on the various detailed studies, surveys and reports which will then be made available. It is intended that this will take place late this year with construction commencing in the first quarter of 2007.
