Question 393: To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of cars impounded for breaching road traffic regulations each year from 2002 to date in 2006; the breakdown of the number of cars which were domestic registered and those which were foreign registered; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am informed by the Garda authorities that the breakdown of domestic registered and foreign registered cars impounded for breaching road traffic regulations is set out in the following table:
