Question 285: To ask the Minister for Foreign Affairs the plans and programmes of his Department and related State agencies which have been identified as requiring strategy environmental assessments under the European Communities (Environmental Assessment of Certain Plans and Programmes) Regulations 2004; and the number of such assessments which have been carried out or are in progress to date. As none of the areas which require an environmental assessment under the European Communities (Environmental Assessment of Certain Plans and Programmes) Regulations 2004 fall under the remit of the Department of Foreign Affairs, none of the current plans or programmes of the Department require such assessments to be carried out.
