I am informed by the Garda authorities that the information requested by the Deputy is still being collated, as it requires an examination and analysis of manual records. I will contact the Deputy again when the information requested is to hand.

Question 680: To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if An Garda Síochána at Mountjoy Garda station Dublin 7 are aware of residents' concerns that alcohol is sold to underage persons at a location (details supplied) in Dublin 7; the action it is taking; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am informed by the Garda authorities that the business referred to by the Deputy has not come to the unfavourable attention of the Garda at Mountjoy Garda station in connection with the sale of alcohol to underage persons and no such offences have been disclosed to date. Gardaí have spoken to the management of the premises regarding the sale of alcohol to underage persons and have undertaken to commence recording details of all sales refused on the ground that the person is underage. The residents' concerns have been raised with the management of the premises.
