Question 397: To ask the Minister for Agriculture and Food if her Department is meeting the agreed national target figures for employment of persons with a disability; her views on whether that figure is adequate; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [13279/06]

Currently 2.6% of the staff employed by my Department have a disability. My Department is committed to the employment of people with a disability and places no barriers to the recruitment of people with disabilities to vacancies that may arise.
