Question 134: To ask the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the number of inspections which were carried out in each of the past five years to assess compliance of employers with the provisions of the Protection of Young Persons (Employment) Act 1996; and the number of prosecutions in each of those years for non-compliance with the provisions of this Act. The number of workplace inspections-visits undertaken by the labour inspectorate under the Protection of Young Persons (Employment) Act 1996 for the past five years and prosecutions initiated in respect of each of the years is set out in the following tabular statement.
