Question 223: To ask the Minister for Finance the details of office accommodation leased or rented by his Department here; the terms of the various leases; the cumulative cost since 2000; the person from whom the premises are leased; his views on whether this represents value for money; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The cumulative cost of rental and service charge costs for leased accommodation for the period 2000-05 is approximately €551,000,000. Details of these leases and landlords are being compiled and will be forwarded to the Deputy shortly. The rental terms agreed are not out of line with market rates and as such are considered to be value for money.
