Question 560: To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the enforcement threshold in excess of the speed limit expressed in percentages or kilometres or miles per hour that gardaí allow in the enforcement of speed limits; if the threshold is applied in the same way in all Garda divisions; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am informed by the Garda authorities that the enforcement of speed limits is conducted uniformly across all Garda divisions, with a view to ensuring compliance by all road users across the entire road network in theState, without reference to any thresholds whatsoever.
