Question 542: To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if the Office of Public Works has finalised the site acquisition from Dublin City Council in view of the proposed new Garda station for Finglas, Dublin 11; if not, the reason for the delay; and the steps he will take to expedite this matter. I have been informed by the Commissioners for Public Works that they are in negotiation with Dublin City Council for the acquisition of the site for the new Garda station at Finglas. I am further informed that the transaction is expected to be completed shortly. There will be no undue delay in the provision of the new Garda station.
