Question 221: To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will reconsider his decision to deport a person (details supplied) who has integrated into their locality and who is a volunteer youth worker with the National Youth Council of Ireland; his views on whether this person could play a positive role in society; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I refer the Deputy to the reply I gave to Questions Nos. 459 and 469 on Tuesday, 7 February 2006, in which I outlined the position. The enforcement of the deportation order is now an operational matter for the Garda National Immigration Bureau.
