Question 206: To ask the Minister for Finance if further meetings are required between his Department, the Office of Public Works and Kildare County Council or other bodies or agencies in view of the immediate and pressing need to identify a site for a new school at Kill, County Kildare; if he expects all matters relating to site acquisition to be concluded before the end of the school year; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I refer to my reply to Parliamentary Question No. 107 of 9 February 2006. A number of options are currently being progressed and it is not possible to say whether further meetings between the OPW and Kildare County Council will be necessary at this stage. Every effort is being made to acquire a suitable site for Kill national school as soon as possible.
