Question 641: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government if he will make available figures that he might have regarding a change in the amount of planning applications for one-off rural houses arising from the adoption of the rural planning guidelines. [5443/06]

The information sought is not available in my Department in regard to planning applications. The Central Statistics Office publishes quarterly statistics on planning as part of the housing quarterly statistics. This identifies planning permissions granted for one-off houses.
