Question 316: To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform further to his reply to Question No. 402 of 6 December 2005 the number of burglaries in the districts covered by the three Garda stations at Cabra, Bridewell and Mountjoy covering the Dublin 7 area in 2004 and 2005; and the detection rates in each case. Correspondence relating to my reply to Question No. 402 of 6 December 2005 issued to him from my office on 6 February 2006 covered the periods 1 January to 31 December 2004, inclusive, and 1 January to 31 October 2005, inclusive.

The information detailed in the following table shows the number of burglaries recorded and detected for the periods 1 January to 31 December 2004, inclusive, and 1 January to 31 December 2005, inclusive. The figures provided for 2005 are provisional, operational and liable to change. Cabra Garda station is included in the Blanchardstown Garda district and Mountjoy Garda station is in the Fitzgibbon Street Garda district.
