The Deputy's question relates to the management and delivery of health and personal social services, which are the responsibility of the Health Service Executive under the Health Act 2004. Accordingly, my Department has requested the parliamentary affairs division of the executive to arrange to have this matter investigated and to have a reply issued directly to the Deputy.

Question 188: To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will be visited by the occupational therapist; if her attention has been drawn to the fact that the referral application form was lodged with the Health Service Executive southern area on 13 September 2005 but to date no visit has taken place; if her attention has further been drawn to the fact that this person has to await the occupational therapist report before applying to their local authority for grant aid to install a walk-in shower.
