Question 501: To ask the Minister for Education and Science if, in view of the fact that a school (details supplied) has been waiting approximately 12 years for the school extension and with the increase in enrolment which due to shortage of accommodation this affects the choice of subjects that can be offered to students; when this extension will be provided; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The project at the school to which the Deputy refers has been assessed in accordance with the published prioritisation criteria, which were revised following consultation with the education partners. Progress on the project is being considered in the context of the school building programme from 2006 onwards.
