Question 406: To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he is aware of the carrying out of abductions by foreign secret services on the State's territory or that of other states; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3738/06]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that the Garda Síochána, which is the authority in this jurisdiction responsible for the investigation of such matters, has no knowledge of any such alleged abductions.
