The use of land solely or primarily for particular purposes is regulated by the relevant planning authority, in making or varying its development plan. A number of local authorities have specific zonings for institutional land. I consider it appropriate that this matter is addressed at local level. The disposal of institutional property is a matter for the institution concerned.
