Question 165: To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children if assistance will be given to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 9 with a disability in getting employment as part of the 3% quota for persons with disabilities; and if this person will be given the maximum support. Policy on employment of persons with a disability is a matter for the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment. I understand that FÁS operates a number of schemes to assist people with disabilities in obtaining employment and the person concerned should contact his local FÁS office for further details.
