No payments issued to Laois County Council in 2004 from my Department relating to the operation of the Control of Horses Act. Costs arising in that year were offset against receipts generated by the council in this area with the result that no payment was due under the arrangements operated by the Department. There were no payments made under the neighbourwood scheme in 2004 to Laois County Council.
