Question 121: To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform , further to his response to Question No. 180 of 10 November 2005, his views on whether it is time for an agreement for co-operation to be made with the Police Ombudsman of Northern Ireland; his further views on when such an agreement could be made; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Deputy will appreciate that I will shortly be establishing the Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission, and I expect that the commission will address the issue of how best to progress co-operation with the Police Ombudsman of Northern Ireland and, indeed, their counterparts in other jurisdictions.
