Question 423: To ask the Minister for Education and Science the reason the bus route from Ballindine to Claremorris with a pick-up point at the Ballindine crossroads which has been in existence since 1969 has been moved; the reason the children have to go to a different pick-up point; the further reason it was necessary to change the pick-up point; if the pick-up point can be changed back to the original pick-up point; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Bus Éireann, which operates the school transport service on behalf of my Department, has been requested to provide a report on the situation referred to by the Deputy. When the report is received and considered, my Department will advise the Deputy of the position.
