Question 105: To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children her proposals to direct the Health Service Executive to take on a co-ordinating role in regard to funding for voluntary organisations that are funded by various agencies (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. The Health Service Executive has legal responsibility for the management and delivery of health and personal social services, under the Health Act 2004. The remit of the executive would not normally extend to the co-ordination of the activities of agencies outside the health area.
