Question 324: To ask the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources the title and role of all officers of his Department who accepted corporate hospitality by attending sporting events during the past two years as guests of parties engaged in the development of the Corrib gas field; the date of attendance of each officer at such events and the title of such events. Public servants are required to complete a return under the Ethics in Public Office Acts 1995 and 2001 each year and this is a matter of public record. There has never been sufficient corporate hospitality by any licensee involved in offshore exploration to warrant the necessity for a declaration under the Acts.
