Question 254: To ask the Minister for Education and Science the way in which the review of her Department's policy on those holding non-vocational postgraduate degrees in law seeking higher education grants for the vocational barrister-at-law degree at the King's Inns which she referred to in her answers to Questions Nos. 149 of 14 April 2005, 397 of 16 April 2005 and 607 of 30 June 2005 is progressing; the likely outcome of same; when same will be concluded; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The examination of the issues raised regarding the eligibility of certain students for student support in respect of their attendance at the barrister-at-law degree course at the Honourable Society of King's Inns is ongoing. I will be in communication with the Deputy when the review is concluded.
