Question 803: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government if he will review the current rules covering the tenant purchase scheme to exclude the price of the site where the tenant was originally provided the site for the construction of the local authority house; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The terms of the current tenant purchase scheme provide that, where the site of a dwelling has been provided to a housing authority for a nominal sum, the sale price should be reduced accordingly for the tenant purchaser.
