Question 211: To ask the Taoiseach the result of his meeting with the British Prime Minister on 27 June 2005; and if there has been a decision on taking the British Government to the European Court of Human Rights over its failure to co-operate with the inquiry into the Dublin and Monaghan bombings. I met Prime Minister Blair at the British Irish Intergovernmental Conference on 27 June. A number of issues were raised, including the issue of co-operation of the British authorities with the Barron inquiry into the Dublin and Monaghan Bombings. I have sought preliminary advice from the Attorney General on this matter. That advice is currently in preparation. Contacts with the British Government aimed at securing further co-operation are also ongoing.
