The average gross earnings of industrial workers in all industries for March 2005, the latest date for which figures are available, are as follows: average earnings per week —€572.84 — and average earnings per hour —€14.35. The category industrial worker includes operatives, maintenance workers, storekeepers, packers, cleaners, basic supervisory staff and apprentices. Annual mean monthly earnings of all employees in the industrial sector, based on the 2002 structures of earnings survey for European Union member states, the latest date for which figures are available, are as follows:
