The construction of the PE hall at the school to which the Deputy refers has been completed and the equipment is expected to be delivered in the very near future. Discussions are ongoing with the Departments of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government and Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs regarding the current funding required to facilitate the community usage of the halls.

The refurbishment and extension project for the schools referred to by the Deputy is currently at tender stage. The schools are in the process of appointing a contractor and work is due to commence on site shortly.
