My Department provides financial assistance to the six regional airports towards eligible expenditure incurred by the airports on marketing, safety and security measures. Proposals for annual allocations to each airport under this scheme are currently being considered and a decision on the amount of funding available to each airport, including Galway, will be made shortly.
