Question 308: To ask the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs if his attention has been drawn to the fact that no further progress has been made in rectifying the damage caused by the attempt to develop playscapes on public open space at Ladyswell and Parlickstown, following the receipt of funding from his Department; if his attention has further been drawn to the fact that these works continue to be an eyesore, a damage to children and a focus for anti-social behaviour; and the inquiries he has made following earlier parliamentary questions on the matter. I refer the Deputy to my reply to Parliamentary Question No. 220 of 11 May 2005. I have since been informed by the RAPID co-ordinator in Blanchardstown that, following a public meeting with residents, Fingal County Council has undertaken to carry out the required work by the end of August 2005.
