Question 143: To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children if her attention has been drawn to the huge child population in the Dublin 15 and Connolly Hospital catchment area and her proposals to extend paediatric services to the hospital, particularly outpatient specialist services and some minor injury services in a dedicated paediatric environment. I propose to take Questions Nos. 142 and 143 together.
The Deputy's question relates to the management and delivery of health and personal social services, which are the responsibility of the Health Service Executive under the Health Act 2004. Accordingly, the Department has requested the parliamentary affairs division of the executive to arrange to have a reply issued directly to the Deputy.
