Question 139: To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children if the digital hearings aids for which a tender was completed some time ago, are now being supplied to the agencies who will distribute them to priority cases; and if young persons who need this facility will have them well before the start of the next school year. The Deputy's question relates to the management and delivery of health and personal social services, which is the responsibility of the Health Service Executive under the Health Act 2004. Accordingly, my Department has requested the parliamentary affairs division of the executive to arrange to have this matter investigated and to reply directly to the Deputy.
