Question 412: To ask the Minister for Transport if Iarnród Éireann has submitted a report to his Department on the feasibility study on the proposed Clonsilla-N3 interchange railway line, in consultation with Meath and Fingal county councils; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Iarnród Éireann, in conjunction with Meath and Fingal county councils, recently completed a feasibility study into the possibility of providing a spur off the Maynooth line at Clonsilla to Pace on the N3 beyond Dunboyne. I am aware that Iarnród Éireann is examining the study. The next step is for Iarnród Éireann to decide if and how it wishes to proceed with this project and I expect a report will be submitted to my Department in the near future.
