Question 131: To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will take steps to ensure that the fresh application for a visa by a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath is immediately processed; if he will not permit same, in view of the contents of the reply to Parliamentary Question No. 193 of 21 April 2005; and if he will make a statement on the matter. In view of the circumstances and as an exceptional measure, it was decided to process this application immediately upon receipt. On foot of an assessment of the application, the visa officer approved the granting of the visa applied for.
