Question 124: To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if the Garda authorities at the Bridewell in Dublin 7 will liaise with Dublin City Council to agree measures to curtail the very serious anti-social behaviour causing major problems for elderly persons living in cottages at a location (details supplied). I am informed by the Garda authorities that they are aware of the problems being caused to residents by anti-social behaviour at the area in question. I am further informed that the Garda authorities meet on a quarterly basis with representatives from Dublin City Council to discuss problem issues arising at this location, with a view to agreeing measures to address these issues. I am assured by local Garda management that the area concerned receives regular ongoing attention by both mobile and foot patrols and community gardaí in particular.
