Question 191: To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if a green space and lane (details supplied) in Dublin 7 which attract nightly anti-social behaviour and public drinking by gangs of youths will be prioritised by patrolling community gardaí so that gangs will be moved on and will not cause concern to residents late at night. I understand from the Garda authorities that the lane referred to is controlled by means of locked gates at both ends and that this area is subject to regular foot patrols from personnel from Cabra Garda station. They are assisted by mobile uniform and plain clothes patrols. There is no green space near the area referred to.
